Stock market and daily lives bring a lot of stress. Job, traffic, and even people can cause a lot of anxiety in day to day life. Some go to a psychologist and leave $60 an hour to talk about their issues. Others go to the liquor store and then spend weekend drinking. I am against this kind of stress relief.
Here is what I do to manage my stress.
- I write blog
- Take a walk
- Physical exercise
- Drive to remote area and rest for few days, preferably away from phones and computers.
- Do house chores
For example I spent several days in the mountains, away from civilization and phone service, and internet. It was a great experience, and I am planning on doing more traveling.
Worst thing about traveling is sometimes you can get a sunburn, especially if you are not ready to spend two hours under the sun without any sunscreen on. That’s what happened to me. It looked like it was going to rain, so I went to the lake and got a boat for few hours. Guess what! The sun came out evaporated the clouds, and gave me a nice red sunburn. Well, it was worth it.
